Virtual meeting for the Benelux!
On the occasion of the celebration of the Québec National Holiday, join us for 48 minutes virtual celebration dedicated to the 48 years presence of Québec in Brussels on Wednesday, June 24 at 6 p.m. (interventions in French).
“Quebecers and Americans share a long history grounded in common values and interests. We make things and build prosperity together. In times of crisis, this partnership is more crucial than ever. Last year, the U.S. imported US $5B of Covid-19 related products from Canada, nearly 25% of which were from Québec. We must continue to fight protectionism, bolster supply chains and keep the border fluid in order to revive growth and ensure that our economic region remains one of the strongest and most competitive in the world.”- Catherine Loubier, Québec’s Delegate General in New York; Marie-Claude Francoeur, Quebec’s Delegate in Boston; Martine Hebert, Quebec’s Delegate in Chicago
Le grand quiz de La Francophonie was a huge success this year despite the coronavirus crisis and the start of lockdown, with no less than 2,500 participants worldwide, including 2,153 British schoolchildren.
As the world at large continues to grapple with COVID-19, we hope to keep our American collaborators connected to work coming out of Québec via virtual platforms in the June issue of our cultural newsletter. Our April and May newsletters, which were dedicated to resources for artists and arts organizations, are still available on our website.
The Québec Government Office wishes you and your loved ones continuing good health as our cultural community navigates this difficult time together.
On May 13th, NVTC's Digital Transformation Committee (DTC) and the International Committee are hosting a virtual event with leading Artificial Intelligence (AI) companies from Quebec, Canada. Hear from these trendsetters how AI is driving the next wave of digital transformation. We hope that you will join this meeting to network and build technology partnerships with these companies.
