New partnership between Genivar and ProFish

With partnership support from the Namur provincial economic bureau (BEP), ProFish Technology is an upcoming Namur company that develops technologies to protect fish threatened by industrial water intakes. It has recently entered into a partnership with Québec-based Genivar, a consulting engineering firm with an environmental focus.

Thanks to this partnership, ProFish is expanding its activities to include automated inventory systems to monitor fish migrations. On April 22, the Namur company will be holding a workshop to present its new wildlife inventory tools, applicable to areas such as:

  • • environmental impact studies
  • • population tracking
  • • support for wind-power and hydroelectric projects
