Bienvenue to the team, Jenny, Bhavana, Antoine and Genevieve!

Meet Jenny - our new Economic Affairs attachée with a focus in Aerospace/Defense, Life sciences, Manufacturing, IT and Packaging! Jenny is responsible for supporting Québec companies in the export of their products to the Midwest, and in general business development. As an export expert, her role is to advise Quebec-based companies on how to build and expand their activity in the US, but also to uncover economic opportunities between organizations in the Midwest and Québec.

Jenny’s prior experience included local & global business development and management for industrial manufacturing companies. She was mainly in charge of defining an entire US market penetration strategy, building US entities for French companies from the ground up, and advising American companies on their expansion in Europe (Foreign Direct Investment).

Jenny loves to mentor entrepreneurs, travel, cook and share amazing food!


Bhavana is our new public affairs intern, and she is excited to be with the Quebec Government in Chicago team! She is based in Saint Paul, Minnesota, and is a student in the UW-Madison Professional French Masters Program. She has bachelor's degrees in economics and French from Lawrence University. She will be working on projects in communications, and many other responsibilities related to the arts, culture, and sustainability. Her many talents include knowing every lyric in Taylor Swift's discography.

Antoine is another one of our new public affairs interns at the Québec government office in Chicago, and he will be supporting the team on maritime issues pertaining to the Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence River. With a background in political science and international relations, he concentrated his research throughout his master’s program at the University of Québec—Montreal on artificial intelligence, Big Data, and algorithms. Antoine is interested in travelling, in languages and pétanque.

Genevieve is the new Business Development Officer for the Agribusiness sector! Prior to joining the Québec Team, Genevieve worked as a Trade Advisor for Business France, specializing in the Midwestern Wine Beer & Spirits market. A Chicago native, Genevieve received her M.A. in French Studies from The University of New Mexico - UNM, as well as a B.A. in French from DePaul University.
