On January 21st, President Barack Obama was sworn in for a second term in the 57th U.S. Presidential Inauguration in Washington. André Boisclair, Québec’s Delegate General in New York, was the highest ranking Québec official to attend the ceremony. The presence of the Delegate General at this event marks the importance that Québec accords its relationship with the United States, its principal economic and trading partner abroad.
