Québec’s Minister of Health and Social Services, Réjean Hébert, recently signed a cooperation agreement in the area of health and social services with CONASS, the Brazilian national council of state health secretaries.
Nearly 70 teachers of French as a foreign language from Latin America, the West Indies, the United States, Europe and Asia will be in Québec from July 8 to 26 as part of the 34th edition of the Stage en didactique du français, culture et société québécoises.
The Premier of Québec, Pauline Marois, met with the President of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto, on June 27. The discussions focussed on ways to increase trade between Québec and Mexico as well as on a variety of political, economic, cultural and social issues.
