Combat of Giants: Dinosaurs 3D, created by Ubisoft’s Québec City studio, will be the only North American game offered to buyers of the new Nintendo 3DS when the console is launched in Japan this coming February.
Other than Combat of Giants, developed in Québec City, all of the titles accompanying the new game console have been created by major Japanese developers. Specially designed for the Nintendo 3DS, Combat of Giants lets gamers pick their own dinosaur avatar.
Ubisoft is obviously pleased with this Japanese breakthrough. Opportunities of this type are few and far between, seeing that a new console is launched only once every three or four years. The Nintendo 3DS should be available outside Japan this coming spring.
