In preparation for the multisectoral mission to Africa he will be heading from September 6 to 15, the Minister of International Relations, La Francophone and External Trade, Jean-François Lisée, is calling on Québec companies to take advantage of the opportunities for business, trade and institutional exchanges that this area of Africa has to offer.
“Africa is the continent that is really taking off. Now is the time to show that, here in Québec, we have the desire, the lucidity and the capacity to be part of this development,” said Minister Lisée in a short audio message (in French) explaining the importance of his mission.
The participants in this trade and institutional mission will be able to initiate or nurture business ties in the capital cities and economic centres of Senegal (Dakar), the Ivory Coast (Abidjan) and Burkina Faso (Ouagadougou), three countries with significant development potential.
