Québec Premier Pauline Marois will participate in the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, from January 23 to 26 before undertaking a mission to the United Kingdom accompanied by the Minister for Canadian Intergovernmental Affairs, the Canadian Francophonie and Sovereignist Governance, Alexandre Cloutier.
The annual meeting of the World Economic Forum in Davos is attended by numerous heads of state and government as well as multinational company executives. The 2013 edition’s theme is Resilient Dynamism. The Premier will meet with economic and political leaders, among others.
While in London and Edinburgh, Scotland, from January 27 to 29, the Premier and Minister Cloutier will take part in political discussions and present government policies to stakeholders in the economic and cultural sectors.
