Some of the art world’s most influential leaders and decision-makers gathered at MoMA for “Leadership nouveau,” a conference on the challenges of arts management, curated by HEC Montréal. The event was launched with a networking event at the American Folk Art Museum in Lincoln Center, co-sponsored by Quebec Government Office in New York.

HEC Montréal and the Canadian Commission for UNESCO took the opportunity of this exclusive and groundbreaking event to announce the creation of the UNESCO Chair in Cultural Management, offering arts management programs for southern hemisphere countries.
On hand were Myriam Montrat, secretary general of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, HEC Montréal Director Michel Patry, and François Colbert, holder of the new UNESCO Chair, to present the new chair's goals.
