Québec designers are invited to apply for the chance to exhibit their work at WantedDesign an international design event that will take place in New York from May 17 to 20, 2013.

In its third year, WantedDesign is the premier event running concurrently with International Contemporary Furniture Fair and will feature such prestigious names as Design Within Reach, Cappellini, Bernhardt Design and Ligne Roset. Delegations from Finland, Brazil and Turkey will also be represented alongside Québec.

Over 8,500 attendees from 20 countries are expected: interior designers and architects (17%), designers and manufacturers (30%), retailers and buyers (8%), institutions (22%), press (9%) and design aficionados (13%).

WantedDesign is a unique platform for the exchange of ideas among the design community and an opportunity to establish lasting business partnerships in the U.S. as well as internationally.

Application requirements and deadline

All submissions must be received electronically by Friday, April 5, 2013. Selected designers will be announced the following week.

Fee: $650 including exhibit space and networking events.
