For seven years at Usine C, and ten years in various European locations, the TEMPS D’IMAGES festival has initiated and provoked meetings by breaking boundaries between genres, disciplines and medias. Since its inception, TEMPS D’IMAGES has explored new territories with adventurers of all provenance: Jan Fabre, Big Art Group, Denis Marleau, Motus, Maria Jerez, Line Nault, Pierre Rigal, Thierry De Mey, and several others.
Not inclined to limit themselves to a sole genre, they have revisited the links between stage, hall and screen, continuously disrupting them. The festival now moves largely beyond these initial combinatorics and explores the whole spectrum of possibilities afforded by the relation between stage and image. This year, it does so namely through the participation of Hiroaki Umeda, Martin Tétreault, Marie Brassard, Stéphane Gladyszewski, Michèle Anne De Mey and Jaco Van Dormael, Martin Messier and Caroline Laurin-Beaucage, Purform, Claudie Gagnon, Caroline Gagné, Departement….
