On April 27, three young Québec authors, Nadine Bismuth, Nicholas Dickner and Dominique Fortier will take part in a panel discussion, Writing in a Majority/Minority Cultural Context, with Catalan writer Teresa Solana and Georgian writer Mykola Riabchuck. The panel, moderated by Susan Harris (editorial diretor, Words Wihtout Borders), is part of the PEN World Voices Festival of International Literature.
The Québec authors are also in New York to promote the April issue of Words Without Borders dedicated to Québec literature.
Words Without Borders is an online literary magazine that opens doors to international exchange through translation, publication, and promotion of the best international literature.
The panel is sponsored by Words Without Borders and the Blue Metropolis Foundation (Montreal), with support from the Québec Government and Institut Ramon Llull.
