Québec was once again well represented at this year’s Summer Fancy Food Show that took place in New York, June 28-30.
The following 11 Québec companies were among 17 food manufacturers exhibiting within the Canadian Pavilion:

In operation since 1955, the Fancy Food Show is the largest specialty food trade event in North America, with a summer edition in New York (SFFS) and a winter edition on the West Coast, in San Francisco.
The SFFS features more than 2,600 exhibitors from 80 countries, showing 180,000 products. Over 23,000 industry professionals attend the show annually.
Thirteen new exporters at the SFFS
In conjunction with the Fancy Food Show, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Québec Government Office in New York jointly organized an exploratory mission for new exporters, which included an educational segment as well as store visits, and a tour of the show.
Participants attended presentations on specialty food trends, FDA certification and market penetration strategies.
