Three Québec films, War Witch, Barcelona and Trotteur will be featured at the 2012 edition of the Tribeca Film Festival, starting April 19.

War Witch, directed by Kim Nguyen, is about a child soldier in Africa who turns her life around. North American premiere on April 19.

Barcelona, directed by Martin Laporte, is a musical journey in the architecture of Barcelona. New York premiere on April 19.

Trotteur, directed by Arnaud Brisebois and Francis Leclerc, is a tale of man versus machine in a duel between a young man and a locomotive. New York Premiere on April 22.

The Tribeca Film Festival was created by Robert De Niro to revitalize lower Manhattan after the 9/11 attacks.
