Get a chance to win a poutine for 4 people or a basket with delicacies from Quebec.

Following last year success, we are organising a new competition. This time we are asking you to share your favorite Québec songs that you would like to see in our own playlist to celebrate Québec National Day. This playlist will be published on the 24^th june.

To play*, simply post 1 to 3 of your favorite Québec songs on Twitter or Instagram, between the 1^st & 23^rd June 2021 (23h59), with the tag @QuebecUK and hashtag #fêtenationale (with or without accent).
You could simply post the following sentence with your choices: “This is my selection for @QuebecUK #fêtenationale playlist. What’s your favourite Québec songs?”**

Competition open to people living in the UK, in Ireland and in the Nordic Countries, only. If you don’t want to take part to the competition but still would like to contribute to the playlist, please send your selection of 1 to 3 titles to Qc.Londres@mri.gouv.qc.ca.

The Québec Government Office in London (DGQL) may share some publications.

Contest Terms and Conditions

By entering the contest, you confirm that you have read and accepted the contest terms and conditions specified below.
Only residents of the territory covered by the Québec Government Office in London (DGQL) will be considered for the prize: namely the United Kingdom, Ireland, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. The competition is open from the 1^st June 2021 at 12:01 a.m. to the 23^rd June 2021 at 11:59 p.m.. Only publications with the selection of Québec songs, the tag @QuebecUK and the hashtag #fêtenationale will be taken into account for the draw.

General Rules

1. The prize for this competition consists of either a poutine for four from Poutinerie London (for UK Mainland only); or in a box with delicacies from Québec and books about Québec (for the territory covered by the Quebec Government Office in London, outside of the UK Mainland). The prize will be worth around £30.

2. Only residents of the United Kingdom, Ireland, Iceland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland will be considered for the prize.

3. The sharing of your publication(s) by the Québec Government Office in London does not mean that you have won.

4. The winner: The winner will be drawn among all the publications of a list of Quebec songs, published on Twitter or Instagram and having tagged @QuebecUK and using the hashtag #fêtenationale (with or without accent). The person drawn will be contacted via social media to confirm their address. If the address is indeed part of the territory covered by the DGQL (see point 2), the person will be declared the winner. Otherwise another person will be drawn.

5. For more chances of winning, the same participant can participate several times either by posting different messages during the month of June, or by posting the same message on different platforms (namely Twitter and Instagram).

6. If the winner fails to meet the contest rules, the Québec Government Office in London reserves the right to disqualify him or her.

7. The winner authorizes the Québec Government Office in London to disclose his or her name for the purposes of publishing the contest results if required, without receiving any form of remuneration.

8. If the winner refuses to accept his or her prize, the Québec Government Office in London is released of any liability or obligation toward him or her.

9. The Québec government office in London reserves the right to change, postpone or cancel the contest, if necessary, and accepts no liability resulting from losses, delays mistaken addresses or any other errors.

10. For their protection, participants are advised not to provide any personal information in their answer to the contest question. The information requested from the winner and the other participants will be used only by the Québec Government Office in London and will be destroyed when it is no longer useful. This information may not be used for any other purpose without the consent of the winner or other participant, and in providing said information the participant consents to its use for the specified purpose. Only the first and last names of the winner will be disclosed by means of the Web tools. All disclosures of information shall comply with the politique de confidentialité du ministère des Relations internationales et de la Francophonie (MRIF).

11. For the purposes of the contest, all decisions of the Québec government office in London are final and may not be appealed.

12. The contest is null and void in places where it is prohibited by law. The contest is governed by the laws applicable in Québec.

13. Except for the winner, the contest participants will not receive any correspondence or other communication.

14. If a paragraph of these rules is declared or deemed to be illegal, impracticable or null and void by a court, said paragraph shall be considered to be null and void but all of the other, unaffected paragraphs shall be applied within the limits of the applicable laws.

15. The contest prize may not be exchanged or cashed in.

16. The winner will be drawn on the 24^th June and notified via Twitter or Instagram. We will then send the prize (sent by post as soon as the offices of the Québec Government Office in London are re-opened).

17. The contest is in effect between the 1^st June (00h01) and the 23^rd June 2021 (23h59) (UK time).
