As the world at large continues to grapple with COVID-19, we hope to keep our American collaborators connected to work coming out of Québec via virtual platforms in the June issue of our cultural newsletter. Our April and May newsletters, which were dedicated to resources for artists and arts organizations, are still available on our website.
The Québec Government Office wishes you and your loved ones continuing good health as our cultural community navigates this difficult time together.
On May 13th, NVTC's Digital Transformation Committee (DTC) and the International Committee are hosting a virtual event with leading Artificial Intelligence (AI) companies from Quebec, Canada. Hear from these trendsetters how AI is driving the next wave of digital transformation. We hope that you will join this meeting to network and build technology partnerships with these companies.
Due to the rapidly evolving #COVID19, our offices are currently closed until further notice, but services are being maintained through teleworking. For consular assistance, please contact the Government of Canada.
On march 13, 2020, the Gouvernement du Québec adopted an Order in Council that declares a health emergency throughout Québec’s territory. This exceptional measure empowers the government to implement an array of measures to protect the health of the population.
It is important to follow all of the recommendations and take appropriate action to protect yourself. Every individual also has their part to play to reduce the risk of spreading viruses. Special attention must be paid to more fragile people and older people, especially individuals 70 years of age and over, since they are at greater risk of complications.
Information and safety instructions regarding returns to Québec are also available via https://www.quebec.ca/sante/problemes-de-sante/a-z/coronavirus-2019/.
