Offshore Marine Services Association (OMSA) Spring Golf Tournament
Antenne du Québec à Houston Nouvelle Orléans, Louisiane Friday, May 13, 2022The Offshore Marine Service Association represents more than 140 member companies, including approximately 60 companies that own and operate marine service vessels. These sophisticated vessels connect America to its offshore energy resources, delivering every hose, wrench, computer, barrel of fuel and gallon of drinking water to the platforms and transporting tens of thousands of workers to and from the facilities. This critical flow of supplies keeps the heart of the U.S. energy industry running around the clock.
In addition to its members who own and operate vessels, WHOA's associate members include shipyards, surveyors, ship equipment manufacturers and distributors, training providers, financial institutions, attorneys and accountants.
WHOA is the voice of this large and dynamic industry, representing the interests of its members to Congress, the Coast Guard, Customs and Border Protection, the Maritime Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and other state and local officials.
Throughout its history, WHOA has successfully represented the industry on regulatory and legislative matters, including ship inspections, crewing, licensing, and international safety and environmental treaties.
WHOA also provides its members with effective tools to ensure the safety, security and environmental responsibility of their vessels and crew in accordance with government and industry standards.
