Montréal ranks among the world’s top 25 most liveable cities, coming in at 21st place.
The ranking was done by the Mercer firm and was based on 39 political, economic and environmental criteria. Health, transportation and public services were also taken into account. Mercer surveyed 221 cities around the world.
Several Canadian cities came out high on the list. Vancouver took 4th place, with Ottawa and Toronto placing 14th and 16th respectively.
