Over 100 artists from Québec, Canada and abroad are part of the line-up for the 11th edition of the MUTEK International Festival of Digital Creativity and Electronic Music, to be held from June 2 to 6.
As MUTEK enters its second decade, the 2010 program combines promising new discoveries and the latest creations by artists revealed by previous editions of the festival.
Last March, MUTEK and the Elektra Festival were jointly awarded the Montréal Arts Council’s Grand Prize. According to the Council, these events, which both celebrated their 10th anniversary in 2009, help to reinforce Montréal’s status as North America’s digital creativity capital.
The Government of Québec is a partner of the festival, which helps makes Montréal a “must” destination in North America for electronic music.
