Looking for qualified suppliers of products and manufacturing services to fit your needs? Pencil Sous-Traitance Industrielle Québec’s (STIQ) 2013 Buyer-Supplier Day in to your schedule for October 10th 2013, and get ready to do some customized B2B “speed-dating” in Montreal! Last year’s event was the most successful since the first Buyer-Supplier Day was held in 2007. Participants such as Acciona Windpower North America, Bombardier Transportation and Vestas Wind Systems A/S were among the 44 buyers, 24 decision makers and 122 suppliers in attendance.
STIQ is an association of Québec-based manufacturers fostering the development of business relations by linking together prime manufacturers and suppliers. The goal of the event, which embodies STIQ’s overall mission, is to give Québec companies specializing in a variety of industrial manufacturing activities a more efficient way to meet potential business partners and stay up to speed with networking and industry trends. Along with STIQ, the Québec Government Office in Chicago encourages businesses from the Midwest to participate in this annual event, which is an efficient way for them to learn what business opportunities exist for them north of the border.
For more information on this year’s Buyer-Supplier Day, please consult the electronic brochure. Also, the Québec Government may be able to cover certain costs for qualifying Midwest buyers that would like to participate.
