Representatives from Québec companies, universities and research and innovation bodies recently participated in a mission to Ohio and Arizona.
On the menu—a major aerospace technology trade show, numerous networking activities with key players in the field, conferences and visits to major aeronautics facilities.
Technology, innovation and partnerships
The group first went to Cleveland to participate in the second Canada-Ohio Aerospace Summit, an event linked to the signature in September 2012 of collaboration agreements between the Ohio Aerospace Institute, the host of the event, and Aéro Montréal and the Consortium for Research and Innovation in Aerospace in Québec (CRIAQ).
The Summit, which attracted over 125 participants, enabled the 25 Québec companies in attendance to meet and hold discussions with American companies on issues of importance for the aerospace industry such as:
