In other terms, this is the definition of Les Poules à Colin. A groovy trad-folk group. They are celebrating their 10 years of making music together. They explore different styles of traditional music that they mix with new ones. When they were young, they were real fans of folklore Québec music.
Their strong stage presence demonstrates a contagious a contagious pleasure and projects the audience in a family and festive atmosphere. Broadcast in Quebec, their album: Ste-Waves have become a real fan favorite.
In 2017, the band released their third album MOROSE, inspired by the raw and pure aspect of Quebec’s musical traditions while combining contemporary sounds with the energy, desires and anxieties of modern society.
The band’s show pushes further and gives the audience an amazing experience in itself. There is a mix of traditional, jazz, pop, folk and contemporary music.
The group immerses us in their universe through original, sophisticated, harmonic creations and reinvent traditions. Artistically rich, the band’s songs provide an experience, in both French and English. Les Poules de Colin are a unique and modern perspective on traditional Québec culture.
