Are you ready to commercialize your medical health technology or solution, or make it market-ready in the United States? Would you like to learn more about the American health system, raise funds, develop your market strategy, and meet key players in the sector?
The Medical Alley Association and Investissment Québec International, in collaboration with the Québec Government Office in Chicago, are excited to invite Québec businesses to participate in a medical and digital health technology program which will allow them to have a detailed vision of the American medical technology sector, valuable business rapports, and an path towards a successful entry point to the American market. You will have the opportunity to improve your understanding of the market, refine your export strategy, find your first partners, construct your network of contacts and enhance your visibility.

The selection of the cohort with be announced in May 2021 for the program starting on June 8th, 2021. Organized in collaboration with the association Medical Alley, based in Minneapolis, MN, this program will take place in English.
The deadline to submit your applications is May 10th, 2021. The participation fees for selected businesses are 950 $ CAD (valued at $7000 CAD). There may be a maximum of two participants per participating business or enterprise.

It is a gateway to the American market, with privileged access to key suppliers, investors, insurers, leaders in digital health technologies and solutions, as well as several Fortune 500 companies and a community of innovative startups.
The objective of the program is to prepare selected businesses to better position themselves in the American market in order to maximize their chances of having a successful exportation strategy. For this, the program is this comprised of:
A two-year membership to Medical Alley
Three expert workshops: Business and partnership development in the United States- penetrating the American market! Sales and distribution strategy – positioning and sales pitches ! Legal considerations and fundraising.
Two personalized 1:1 coaching sessions : needs assessment, targeted support, identification of and introduction to key strategic partners.
Preparation and pitch sessions before investors.
Two “Ask me anything” sessions with world-renowned entrepreneurs
Support services with the Québec Government Office in Chicago.
The program would be conducted virtually and in English (emails, conference calls, videoconferences) with a part in person in Minneapolis, MN if permitted.
Company applying will commit to participating in all the different activities of the program across the June to September 2021 timeline: workshop sessions, coaching session, preparation, and pitch session.
Need to be able to commit at least one senior team member in charge of business development (Founder, CLevel, or VP) to take part in the program.
Companies participating in the Medtech & Digital health – US Market access Program would be selected by a Jury of experts. The participating company should have:
Created Therapeutic / Diagnostic device or digital health solution with high potential for growth
Initial traction in their own marketplace or abroad (in Canada, or another region)
Strong management team with at least one member who is proficient in English and is committed to fully participating in the project
The intent to launch or develop their solution / product in the US
A need for local professionals to evaluate their business model / strategy
Resources to participate in the program and potentially visit the market
