Québec Premier Jean Charest will carry out a mission to Brussels on February 4 and 5.
During a conference lunch organized jointly by the Délégation générale du Québec à Bruxelles (Québec government office in Brussels) and the Chamber of Commerce Canada-Belgium-Luxembourg, Premier Charest will give a talk on Thursday, February 5, at the Radisson SAS Hotel, on the theme of the economic crisis and Québec and its new economic space.
The mission to Brussels will be an opportunity for the Premier to meet a number of Belgian and European political leaders, including:
• Herman Van Rompuy, Prime Minister of Belgium
• Kris Peeters, Minister-President of Flanders
• José Manuel Barroso, President of the European Commission
• Catherine Ashton, European Commissioner for Trade
