Chiiild says it gives a "synthetic soul". It boils down to an original combination of psychedelic R&B, retro soul, groovy indie pop and layered electronics. In early 2020, he released his first EP, titled, not entirely coincidentally, "Synthetic Soul". In it, he presents a timeless sound that is as fresh and multi-genre as it is retro. After a big tour supporting Emotional Oranges in 2019, Chiiild returns to Amsterdam, but this time for a club show of his own at Bitterzoet.
