Singer-songwriter Leif Vollebekk was inspired in his teens by Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Lou Reed. With those influences as a basis, he was able to develop his own style as a musician over the years. It results in songs with lyrics taken from life and brought by his characteristic voice, full of beautiful guitar and piano work. The musician from Montréal recently released his fourth album New Ways. On this album the instrumentation is louder than on the predecessors and the lyrics are rawer than ever before.
