Almost 20 years after their formation and 16 years after their first album, The Dears is back on the road again. Used to opening for Morrissey, at the special request of the leader of The Smith, the singer of the group whose voice reminds us of that of a certain Damon Albarn has built a solid reputation live. His musicians are not to be outdone and are in charge of the show, as evidenced by their memorable appearance at David Letterman in 2011. When the britpop makes little ones in Montreal and they insert a touch of gospel into the genre, it may be close to surrealism, but the result is amazing.
