Animation film : Les Triplettes de Belleville (2003) by Sylvain Chomet
Side-splittingly funny and heartbreakingly beautiful – the animation Oscar® nomination for Les Triplettes de Belleville was thoroughly deserved. The turbulent tale of Champion, his grandmother Madame Souza, who takes on the mafia, and the somewhat unusual dog Bruno needs no words. It is brought to life by its music – music to which only the Terrible Orchestre de Belleville can do justice.
