Délégation du Québec à Chicago Monday, April 26, 2021 to Friday, April 30, 2021In partnership with the Canadian Consulate in Chicago and Asian Pop-Up Cinema, The Québec Government Office in Chicago is proud to offer the film 14 days, 12 nights at the end of April. This film, by Québecois director Jean-Philippe Duval, will represent Canada in the “Best International Film” category in the 93rd Oscars Ceremony this year.
This film follows a woman who travels to Vietnam in the search of her adopted daughter’s biological mother. A beautiful friendship forms between the two, thanks to the maternal love that they share.
Asian Pop-Up Cinema aims to promote the richness and diversity of Asian cultures through film, and to highlight Chicago as a destination of Asian film productions.
Enjoy this wonderful film and reflect on themes of motherhood, culture, shared experiences, identity, and friendship! The film will be available online from April 26th - April 30th 2021.
